Frontend Web Developer/Designer

The Role

As a Frontend Web Developer/Designer at DevHub, you'll play a key role in building and implementing web experiences used to power over 244 enterprise brands in the Restaurant, Retail, Home services, Franchise and Manufacturing industries. What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the design and customer success teams to translate visual designs into functional websites using the DevHub platform toolset

  • Develop clean, efficient, and well-structured HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code

  • Read and implement customer brand guidelines requirements into your CSS styles

  • Customize templates and plugins to meet project requirements.

  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize websites for mobile devices

  • Implement interactive and dynamic elements using JavaScript frameworks and libraries

  • Collaborate with the back-end development team to build front-end templates utilizing server-side functionality and data

  • Collaborate with the customer success teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly and meet requirements

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure smooth functionality and optimal performance

  • Optimize page experiences using Google Core Web Vitals best practices, scores, and Lighthouse reports

  • Implement ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and WCAG best practices and guidelines into customer projects as needed

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end web development and implement them in projects.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in website development and building websites

  • Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS

  • Experience with theme development or HTML templating languages (i.e. WordPress, Shopify, Django, or Handlebars)

  • Proficiency in responsive web design and mobile-first development.

  • Experience with writing interactive Javascript (i.e. jQuery or Vanilla JS) to add interactions (hover, click events) to your HTML/CSS

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience working and collaborating with teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment

  • Amazing time management skills, with prior experience in a time-sensitive development environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs.

  • Experience with Jinja/Django/Shopify templating languages is a plus

Designer/ Web Designer

  • Collaborate with the template production teams on their implementation of your design into the DevHub platform using our extensive list of best practices

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in website design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and familiarity with the Adobe suite (Photoshop, etc)

  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS

  • An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in Typography, Interaction, Visual Design, and Ideation

  • You enjoy designing web experiences, including UX and Visual Design

  • Experience in font management, photo editing, and asset management

The Role

DevHub is looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about engaging customers and increasing the value they achieve. A proven self-starter and project manager, the Customer Success Manager will dive into the technology and their customer’s businesses to fully understand how our SaaS platform and services offering integrates into their multi-location strategy. A successful person in this role will enjoy a variety of responsibilities with a focus on onboarding and maintaining customer relationships, promoting feature adoption, addressing technical questions, and working with other members of our team to solve complex marketing problems. The ideal candidate will manage the details of project and content management, ensure our client communication is timely, relevant, and consistently presented in a professional manner, and will be passionate about excellent customer relationship management and customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • ​Establish and own trusted strategic advisor relationships with clients, focusing on adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction

  • Own extended client onboarding process.

  • Promote continued value of our products and services

  • Review customer business needs and requirements to determine proper design and site configuration

  • Manage discovery process, onboarding, and ongoing relationship

  • Coordinate and manage client meeting schedules and communication. Write and share call agendas, meeting notes and follow-up communication with stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to support your customer’s needs

  • Serve as an advocate for both the customer and the company

  • Work with clients to establish and achieve goals/KPIs

  • Discover and develop upsell opportunities

  • Communicate customer needs, website enhancements, use-cases, and feedback cross-departmentally

  • Regularly review and report on customer application metrics

  • Keep meticulously detailed and organized notes for all internal/external customer discussions

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in Customer Success or Account Management, preferably in SaaS or subscription business model

  • Experience working with enterprise clients

  • Impeccable written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in-person and remotely

  • Detail oriented and analytical

  • Strong team player but comfortable taking on tasks alone, a self-starter

  • Experience working and collaborating with teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment
